On the 27th of August we had our wedding at the Waterside House Hotel. From the moment we stepped onto the red carpet me and my husband were treated like royalty. The staffs were extremely nice and couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. The food was exceptional and the room was out of this world!! Our wedding suite was beautiful and the view from our balcony was picturesque. Most of our guests stayed the night and all complimented their rooms, especially my grandparents who stayed in the disabled room. It was so accessible and comfortable. I cannot fault this wonderful hotel and its staff and will definitely be staying there again and again in the future. Thank you all so much for making our special day a day never to forget.

Myself and my husband had our wedding reception in The Waterside on Thursday 11th August. We had a fantastic day and could not have gotten better treatment or service anywhere else. Luckily weather-wise it was also a fantastic day and we were so lucky to be able to use the beautiful terrace area for our drinks reception. The food at the dinner was beautiful and all people with dietary requirements were treated with easily and discretely. Both the managers on duty were so friendly and helpful - they did not have to be asked to do some things such as put the dinner back half an hour when we were later than expected arriving, or moving our evening buffet back an hour as we were later than we thought we would be having our first dance. Also a huge mention has to go to the late barman (I think his name was Peter) He was so helpful and even went as far as going around the tables when the bar was closing at 4am to tell everyone and make sure that everyone had the drink they wanted. Everyone was so impressed with this!
We booked the whole hotel out with family anf friends, and every single person was delighted with their rooms - one of our party is a wheelchair user and there was a problem with the lift when she arrived (this was sorted very quickly), but instead of having her wait for it to be fixed, the hotel staff simply swapped the rooms around without any problems.
Our guests were really delighted with the day afterwards in the hotel. We had a beautiful buffet breakfast and we were lucky enough to have another lovely day, so the kids got to go swimming in the sea, and a lot of the adults got to enjoy the beautiful seaside walks.
We would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone after our experience and we look forward to going back again this weekend to celebrate a family 40th which was booked after they enjoyed the hotel so much at the wedding.

All the Staff at the waterside house hotel were exceptional, Courteous and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us to make our wedding day run smoothly for us. The waiting staffs were excellent. I’d like to thank them all for their help on the day. Paul and Niamh are great to deal with anything we needed for the day it was done with high excellence. To everyone at the Waterside House Hotel thank you ever so much.

Just returned from our daughter’s wedding at the waterside hotel in Donabate. Could not have asked for more, a perfect venue right on the beach, the weather was very kind to us. Staffs including managers were fantastic, everything was spot on. Rooms were lovely overlooking the beach, food and service were impeccable!! The wedding coordinator made sure that things went all to plan. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Just got married 28th May 2010, our wedding reception was held at The Waterside House Hotel, staff were 1000% attentive, they just couldn’t do enough for us all, i would highly recommend this hotel for any function but i have to say they made us feel so special, wish i could do it again...... Special mention to our wedding coordinator in the hotel and Paul the manager is an absolute gem.... Martina in the bar was legend....Fab day.... Thanks guys.... Fran & Alan xxxxx
